PHASE 1
DANCE TEAM PREREQUISITES
​
Dancers who wish to be part of the Dance Team
must first be registered in
ballet and jazz group classes.
​
New Dancers to SKR
can book an audition.
​
Dancers who are selected for
a solo, duet, or trio
must first be registered in a group class
of the same dance style for training purposes.
The booking of Private Coaching is also required
for learning and rehearsing choreography.
To ensure a positive and respectful
experience for everyone,
SKR kindly reserves the right
to decide which dancers
will be selected for the team,
as well as for
solos, duets, and trios.

These decisions are made
thoughtfully, with integrity
and the best interests
of all dancers in mind.

CONSIDERATION & PLANNING

COMPETITION #1
DATES ARE INCLUDED IN THE FORM
Dancers MUST be available for all 3 days.
Specific day and time TBC.
This is a local venue - no hotel stay.
​COMPETITION #2
DATES ARE INCLUDED IN THE FORM
Dancers MUST be available for all 4 days.
Specific day and time TBC.
This is not a local venue.
We get to stay in a hotel - team building fun!

DATES ARE INCLUDED IN THE FORM
Dancers MUST be available
for the duration of the production week.

FINANCIAL COMMITMENT
ESTIMATED COSTS ARE INCLUDED IN THE FORM
Please be aware that participation
on any team
involves a significant
financial commitment.
Families should be prepared
to cover both required and personal
expenses associated with the season.
Required expenses include
(but are not limited to):
Team Practices
Competition Entry Fees
Team Uniform​
Routine Costume​
Hotel Accomodations
Photos & Videos
Additional personal expenses will include:
jewelry, make-up,
footwear, tights,
gas, food
etc.​
